any reccomendations pals? Im sensitive to lactose so will a isolate work? Usn trust 50shakes seem to digest well but they are premixed and expensive

Read beef protien is a waste of time along with vegan? Any advice?

Yes isolate would work since it's more filtered than whey concentrate, removing most of the lactose. If you still have issues with isolates, you can try hydrolysed whey, which is pre-digested for even faster absorption.

You are right about beef protein. It is low quality because it's often made from collagen or byproducts rather than real beef muscle.

Yes, those USN made up protein drinks are lactose free. Used them myself. WV0224.post I agree with. Information I have on Whey copied from my tablet is below:-

Whey Protein Isolate

Whey protein isolate is further processed to remove all the fat, carbohydrates and lactose, as the name suggests it's isolated Whey protein. Whey protein isolate is 90 percent protein. It is good if you are lactose intolerant. Don't worry with isolate, it is always 90 percent protein.

Whey Protein Hydrolysate

Whey protein Hydrolysate is considered to be the "predigested" form of Whey Protein Isolate as it has already undergone partial hydrolysis - a process necessary for the body to absorb protein. Whey protein Hydrolysate does not require as much digestion as the other forms of Whey protein above and is 85 to 90 percent protein. Obviously this is the best form of Whey protein as it is easily digested.

Hope this helps mate.
