Cardio and weights

Hi
Want a bit of advise

I go the gym 5/6 days per week at 5am and do weight training
I promise myself to do cardio but never do, hate cardio in the mornings

if I stopped weight training for a couple weeks and done just cardio, will I lose muscle ?
and is it advisable to do ?

can't imagine a few weeks will do any harm at all in fact it might give the muscles are bit of a break

Depends on how long you’ve had the muscle on your body ime. Easy come easy go is a relevant saying here.

I’d just train as normal and go for a walk in the evening or find a way to slot in activities somewhere else outside the gym.

If you're training that frequently I'm assuming your weight session aren't that long
Set aside 10-15 mins for some HIIT cv immediately post workout 2-3 times a week
Use your shorter sessions ie arms or shoulders
Then do your longer LISS cv on your rest days, the lower intensity shouldn't affect your recovery

What if your question was the other way around?

Would it be advisable to weight train for a couple of weeks expecting to gain muscle?
