Are Ukbff Trying To Kill Off Bodybuilding?

If you would like a lesson in how to kill off an entire federation, the UKBFF seem to be offering the perfect model to follow.

First stop allowing friends, family and reporters from generating any buzz around the event.

Second make sure the one photographer you DO use then proceeds to have broken links to any photos that exist.

Third, make sure you spend more time taking down everyone else's videos from YouTube than fixing your own broken media and boom!

A complete media blackout.

You complete bunch of fucking idiots, if anyone ran my business that way they would be fired.

So now, somebody like me who wants to see what happened, what the show looked like, how the competitors looked, can't see a thing.

Way to kill off an already very niche sport.
 
i saw the back of the female photographer from a friends pic, he was sat directly behind the dippy cow who refused to sit down. She had a nice arse though so some hidden benefits.

i remember eric guy coming round with forms for 'dvd and photos'. £30.
they try and ban friends and family taking pics so you have to use the official photographer but often the pics are shit.

one photographer wanted £5-10 per photo and some sort of stupid facebook ban unless you pay extra...fuck off lol...

MT show was perfect, £12 for 100+ pics and the guy sent them to me within 24 hours.
 
I get all the shit surrounding ukbff, I don't like anything about them or the way they operate...


But.... Look at how many competitors/memberships etc they had over the weekend, it must be a decent business.

This year only the winner did his routine because the majority of sat is wasted on male n female beauty show n bikini strut
 
Remember going to leeds show when CJ and gemma competed and gemma brother being threatened to be removed for taking pictures

No idea but even that's a waste. May as well go strip show. Girls are in just as Gd shape n actually know how to shake it [emoji23][emoji23]

Yeah I see there is a working link now but down in the comments.

You would think the person running the social media would update the link in the first post so people can find it...fools!

It's just like any business, they want to make money and of course that's the right thing (especially after all my rants about it:lol:) But, when you get greedy about it and want to find ways of forcing money out of people, instead of offering more great things people will gladly pay for...your time is very limited.

Why let all the people take photos but then have an A1 photographer out back with a little studio setup with props and offer a proper photoshoot for a price, I think many would jump all over that, or offer a package of a nights stay after show and photoshoot the next day when everyone is bursting at the seams.

As for the classes I think that's another mistake. Not the classes in themselves but the sheer volume of the fitness classes they put through to the final. They are trying to cater to everyone and the company thats tries to be something to everyone, ends up nothing to anyone. If your a BB Fed then promote bodybuilding and do a better job of it, not try to please people who wouldn't of come otherwise and won't spend a penny on stands etc.

If one could build a relationship with the IFBB and offer a federation for the athletes that promotes the sport, I think you do very well but then how much of the crap the UKBFF do comes from the IFBB?

I guess you will always get bitches like me complaining regardless :lol:
 
It was a nightmare trying to find out results. I went to about 20 sites and ended up on flex online. The only place that seemed to have anything about the finals.

because muscletalk was stopped from doing a live by play... i was effectively made redundant by the UKBFF lol.
i did that gig for a few years and everyone had access within seconds of placings, feedback and photos

That's the thing that's really ruined it for me, I used to enjoy the blow by blow commentary if i couldn't make it to the show. Maybe that's what they were scared of? People staying home instead of coming lol.

I wouldn't want that lot running a business!
 
cant see how legally they can stop the family taking pics... surely the fam could argue under article 8 right to family life or some shit...
