Is dating after 40 a lost cause?

A buddy of mine who is recently separated is trying to date at 41.

Do dating apps work? Anyone here with dating experience after 40?
 
Used to be that you went out spotted some one you liked the look of & chatted them up. Dating apps work I met my ex through one. Tell your buddy to go for it mate.
 
Never Date a woman who uses such internet sites.
You can guarantee she's writing with otger dudes & probably meeting up.
If you're just out for a quick bit of fun it's OK.
Not for a serious relationship
Think about it can you really trust her? Most of these chick's have other dude's numbers.
 
Go the traditional way...join a gym..any club.
Hell..join a bowling club if you get balls deep in some p*ssy

You give plenty of edgy banter on here I've noticed - and as far as I know that's cool to a point. Hell I gave plenty of it myself back in the day - but my point is, if you are going to give it, you've got to accept taking it back when you get folks back up
