can see your point open class is dying in the west and id just like to see flex at his best just once that lumico muppet on the tubes rates priest over lewis but flex is competing at 80% to make weight

As much as some people would like to see this, its a foolish move IMO.
Sure the prize money sucks in 212 but the value it has earned him to his name is worth millions from endorsements.
Most top 10 olympia finishers do not have supplement contracts anymore, winklaar AFAIK still has no main endorsement, its hard going these days. Long gone are the 90s era contracts floating about for the top 10 guys...

flex has it all, champion.

why move up to become top 10 at best in a division that is dying on its arse drawing its last breaths in terms of marketability?

I think Winklaar and De Ashe have deals now with the new company Yamamoto Nutrition
 
Dexter needs to take a vacation to Oxygen Gym in Kuwait. I've yet to see a bodybuilder train there for a period of time who hasn't made huge changes.

Big Ramy is looking insane also, somehow he's still making big gains. I can see him taking second this year.
 
Dexter is too old and health conscious to push the boundaries like the Kuwaits do IMO. I think he's happy just to get top 3 and then win every other show he turns Upto.

I also think Ahmad ashkanani is a serious contender to the 212 and it wouldn't surprise me if he beats flex in the next year or 2.

and the only reason why is flex to tall for his class at a towering 5ft 5.5"
 
Interestingly Phil has been dropped by his supplement sponsor. That might have some influence with the politics.

The industry is keen on Big Ramy, but I would like to see Cedric get it.

if its the same sponsor phil got ripped off and never recieved a penny check the fighter and the kid podcast on youtube for info
