Pumping Up Before Stepping On Stage

The Cheese

Top Contributor
For those of you who have competed - how do you go about it?

In what order do you do body parts? Do you have to work harder on some parts than others? Are there some which you don't pump at all? How much does posing affect the pump?

A circuit of band curls, push ups, band side raises.
I aim for a slight pump through the upper body but not too much in my back because it out powers the rest of me.
Pecs, delts and arms all need a pump.

For me
Lots of push ups
I have a few pec tears that are very visible with a flat chest
Pumped you can't see it
So I focus on this

I try to pump the fuck out of
Delts and pecks
Light pump on every thing else
If you over pump arms they become very hard to pose...
Also look smooth
Same with back
Delts just seem to get get full and veiny
Chest needs it to fill out tears

Usually struggle to pump up due to dehydration
This is why I stopped cutting water

As above really, upper body pump with bands and push ups, and rows

Found some weird weight blocks for the theatre at Kent so we were using them for curls and raises

Was told not to pump legs to avoid cramping and losing definition in them etc

Not looking like that for a start fatty... LOL

I just banned natural Steve.
Didn't look like he was going to contribute any thing of value.
I read the thread from UKM he was spouting a load of negative crap....this is a bodybuilding board not a political agenda board!
Insulted a member.
Nuff said.

Thank fuck for that, as soon as I saw his name in my email notification I thought great he's jumped off his high horse from Ukm and started posting here lol

Good work @Con

No one can break our community.

Excellent work @Con :)
Well I have to say it seems very quite on here lately!
Hopefully people keep it alive by making posts!
I come on whenever I have time which isn't very often atm (quiet Saturday afternoon for once so have some time especially with a poorly daughter...no hikes today!).

Lets keep it to the important chit-chat about which chemicals make muscles bigger and what dodgy oils should be forced into your tissues to aid the process.
Enough negativity going on around the world without having to read it on here.
lol

Am I the only one who dnt go on ukm any more?
I had no idea who he was...
I was linked a thread dude....I never go there any more....don't need to talk to a pencil neck online...I get to do enough of that in real life lol
