i must say optimum nutrition's SERIOUS MASS is hands down the best Mass Gainer and best tasting mass gainer on the market.

of course i am an ectomorph, this gainer is not for all! but for anyone who wants to bulk up and wants decent tasting stuff. this is it! :thumb:
 
it's expensive stuff though isn't it, in comparison to something like boditronics mass attack evo. which is still pretty good.

but then again so is whey,oats and olive oil with milk lol.
 
i mean it can be expensive, but to be honest ive used various mass gainers and for some reason the SERIOUS just always works the best ive had weird issues with other mass gainers and my skinny ass really loves the 1250 calorie servings, altho i dont take a full serving i take half or maybe a little over half throught the day a few times to get my extra calories in but that of course is mixed with whole foods as well.

The best way to do the oatmeal shakes is to grind that Sh*t up with a coffee grinder and BAM! you instantly have carb powder and good source of fiber.
 
Amen to that, yer i've never tried SERIOUS MASS, i just remember looking at price for like 16 servings or something and thought na i'll give that a miss lol.

i've always wondered when it comes to grinding oats if this has any affect on the GI of that food, because im pretty sure we dont eat superfast oats or ready brek for the reason there ground down, but then we grind oats or by superfine and drink them lol?
 
No need to grind them down IMO.

You can buy powder oats from MP for cheap as hell, or just put your oats to soak in water for a while and mix it up with your shake a bit later.

Or, just man up, make the shake and drink it. All does the same thing in the end, only difference with soaking them first is dry oats will absorb a lot of the water in your system, leaving you feeling a little dehydrated. So increase your water consumption as necessary.

Cant really envisage ever buying a mass gainer shake to be fair. Can make 1250 cals from whey oats and EVOO at half the cost. Less sugar, lower GI, meh, the list is endless.
 
mega gainer fro dimatize is awesome! tastes like a real milk shake when made with milk
