2 out of 5 girls DECON sent to the Team Universe won their pro cards today.
The shorter girl won a pro card 3 times....she won over 35, over 40's and came 2nd in the open.
The blonde won 1st in the open figure class.
All besides one of the 5 were in the first call out.
A good result I dare to say!

Great results.

She won a pro card 3 times??? They are giving them away lately ain't they. Should that even be possible ???

Well they give it away for 1st place in the master classes and top 2 in the open.
She won both masters and came 2nd in the open.
What they do is pass the pro card down to the next winner once a person already has a pro card.
So 2nd place in the 2nd master class she won ended up with a card and 3rd place in the open.

Yeah man I don't agree with how they give out pro cards but when they're my clients it's still pleasing lol

Not being negative to you or your clients but that universe is crazy. One lady won a pro card beating just 4 other ladies. Also a bikini lady who came like 16th out of 18 at the last AM Olympia here and didn't place at her previous international competiton beat like 7 women at universe in the over 40s and a gets a pro card!! Bit of a joke. Fair play to them as they are just playing by the rules but it's crappy when someone is clearly not what I call pro level (ie the last above I mentioned) yet gets a card.... Anyway it's still awesome work by you and your clients ...am not taking away from that in any way

Also sad for those who have to win loads (biased as that's how my Mrs had to do it) I mean you work hard and win the open overall. Maybe 35 in your class and 100 plus across the whole division. Well done Fair play. Then someone in the 50 yr old bikini or whatever it was beats a 4 girl line up and gets the exact same reward .. a pro card.

Anyway wasn't try to derail the thread or be negative against Cons ladies. Open figure is no joke!!! So not detracting from achievements there

Trust me I agree with these thoughts!!!!
Over 100 pro cards given away at this show.
Put it this way even if there were 2000 competitors that's still one card per 20 people!!!

What amuses me is all these cards given out but for the open bbing on the overall winner gets one!

I think cards should be hard to get like it use to be.
Because then if you were a pro that really was a big deal.
Put it this way if i get a card it wont help me as much as it used to when it comes to pt and so on!
 
Lets be honest the difference between being an open bbing pro and every other class and age group is massive!!!!
To win an open bbing pro card is still a damn big deal all things considered.
Even though I don't agree with 2nd place getting one at shows like the nationals (that said if I came 2nd I wouldn't be complaining!)

totally agree.....to be a an ifbb pro bodybuilder is still elite

i hear if you turn up you get a pro card in murica right now lol.

but kudos to the girls for doing well at the show!
hopefully they dont join the giant bucket that is the IFBB Pro league and are never heard of again.

some turn pro, update their PT business card and never compete again
