The BIG Picture

View attachment 73910

Spent the last 4 months on 750mg test and a good clean diet at maintenance (4500 - 5000 cals a day) ended up at 260lbs in the shape above (unpumped picture)

Chest has grown a lot since adding some pressing back in (managed to get up to 160kg x 12 on incline smith), arms and Delts are coming on but not as much and lower body strength is finally back to normal (just about) after the Achilles tear at the end of April (Mid shin rack pulled 320kg and then deadlifted 290kg straight after when I trained Wednesday and I’ve squatted 225kg x 5 with just a belt on Monday).

Week away now then back to press on with a cruise dose (125mg test every 8 days) for a few month and the training goal is to get deadlift somewhere near PB territory before end of April. 330kg within a year of the tear is the target)

How’s everyone else getting on lads? Obviously forum has slowed right down lately but I presume everyone is still training
Chest has massively improved mate
Its impressive how you didn't let the injury get you down and how quickly you've recovered
How did you find the test only?
How does higher test compare to a moderate test/nandrolone cycle?

For me, I had a really successful post show rebound, quickly regained size with very little fat gain
Currently maintaining around 101kg, which is slightly lighter than previous but with significantly better condition and still requires over 4k cals
Had body fat properly tested at 10%
I've lowered the volume of my sessions and concentrate much more on quality over quantity, I'm also sticking to a 2 on 1 off split rather than just continually training
This has made a huge difference to my recovery and improved progress

I didn’t mind the test only but I do feel the addition of another compound makes results easier to come by, if I’d have done what I’d just done on 125 test/300 Tren or Deca I think the results would have been more pronounced

I’m probably gonna go 125 test and 200-400 deca next time I cycle (can barely even call that a blast these days can ya)

Your plans looks good pal. I need to stick to less training sessions overall, 2 on 1 sounds ideal.
Look forward to seeing the results

You've confirmed what I already thought, there's definitely more to be gained from a lower dose combo than higher test only
Its obvious I know, but you still her the test is best crowd so its good to get a genuine opinion

Its took me a while to actually embrace the lower volume approach
I've been over training for a couple of years but its hard to get your head around that training less will improve progress, there is definitely a psychological side to it
But now I've put it into practice properly the difference in recovery and improvements to my physique is very noticeable

3 weeks into current bicycle regime, food back up to 3400cals. Working on arms and upper back, L shoulder doesn't like benching anymore, back doesn't like squats or deads at the moment.

Looking very good Ben. Closet bodybuilder hiding in there all along.

 Thanks mate, I'll take that, I can't seem to do anything else at the moment!

A little bit fluffy but that will improve when I drop everything back to maintenance
Currently eating up to 1000g carbs on some training days

Tremendous

What carb sources you using to hit 1K?
All the standard stuff, cream of rice, oats, potatoes but
Mainly jasmine rice, could eat 175g (dry weight) easily with chicken or ground beef
Adding dried raisins/sultanas is a great way to bump carbs up and can add that to anything, apart from ground beef lol
Its the most consistent I've been with my diet, hardly eaten any junk

Looking superb

For a 14kg increase thats impressive, still holding really good condition.

Insane amount of weight in such a short period of time especially the condition you've kept!!
Arms are crazy, legs look like they've come up loads!

Tbf, the first pic is the lightest weight I've maintained for a long time, also the fittest and healthiest. So there was always gonna be a decent rebound
The last 3 months has been the most consistent phase I've had, training and recovery has been structured much more than previous and diet has been 100% with steady increases at the right times
